Play Time

I am still working on cleaning out my old photo files on the computer.  What happens though is that I find old pics that I forgot about and then start messing around with them using new tricks that I have learned.

Look at this beauty, from last summer!
The first is almost as is straight out of the camera, I just slightly saturated the colors and then lightened the skin tone.

On the one above I did a heavy black and white filter but at about 70% effect, which I really like the way this looks even if it is a bit dated.  I also used this on the pics from the twirly skirt post.

And then, believe it or not, I think this is my favorite, layering on the charcoal black and white at 100% effect but just slightly lowering the contrast.  

It's fun, learning these new things and making the time to play around.  Eventually I will go and take some classes, but in the meantime, I am learning as I go.

Which is your favorite?  If anybody has any suggestions for some on-line courses, I would love to hear about them.
